Austin Combs, Certified Physician Associate (PA‑C) and Testosteronologist, was born and raised in Waterloo, Illinois. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri where he was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity and went on to earn his graduate medical training at Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago. After obtaining his Physician Assistant Certification in 2021, he began his career in urgent care, where he gained extensive experience treating a broad range of patients and conditions. He received his certification in Testosteronology in June 2026. During his clinical work, Austin recognized a growing need for a healthcare model led by medical professionals — one that prioritized evidence‑based treatment, patient education, and individualized care. This vision led him to establish Optimize Health, a practice dedicated to men’s health, hormone optimization, medication assisted weight loss and comprehensive wellness for men and women. Outside of medicine, Austin enjoys staying active, working outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, woodworking, and spending time with his dogs — a lifestyle that reflects the balanced, health‑focused approach he encourages in his patients.
